East Stroudsburg Softball Little League is proud to announce that our 2023 Coach Val Lichtenstein Jr. Memorial Scholarship Application is now available.
Val Lichtenstein was a kind, passionate man, dedicated to hard work and enjoying life. Coach Val found ways to motivate his players, and maintained a spirited positive attitude, no matter the circumstance.
To honor his memory, East Stroudsburg Softball Little League (ESSLL) will offer the proceeds of registration funds from the annual Coach Val Lichtenstein Memorial Tournament to two eligible High School Seniors from the East Stroudsburg Area School District/Notre Dame High School.
In order to be considered for the scholarship, applicants must fulfill ALL of the following eligibility requirements:
- Member of the ESASD/Notre Dame Class of 2023
- Current/former player of East Stroudsburg Softball Little League (f/k/a East Stroudsburg North Little League) in good standing
- Attending college or trade school in 2023.
