East Stroudsburg Softball Little League (ESSLL) offers age-appropriate divisions and year-round opportunities
for girls ages 4–16 to learn, play, and grow in the game of softball.
We are a development-focused, recreational league. There are no tryouts required to join our regular season
teams, and all skill levels are welcome—from beginners who are picking up a glove for the first time to
experienced players looking to continue their development.
Our goal is to provide a fun, positive, learning-focused environment where every player can build confidence,
teamwork, and a lifelong love of softball.

How We Place Players in Divisions
ESSLL uses Little League league age as the starting point for division placement, along with
safety and player readiness.
- League age is determined by Little League rules and may differ from your player’s actual age.
- In some cases, players may play up or down a division based on experience and safety.
- Final placement decisions are made by ESSLL with the player’s best interests in mind.
